Day 14- Driving into Salt Lake City!

Day 14: Utah

Guess who's back, back again, THE SNEEZY'S are back, back again!! Today we had the lovely opportunity to sleep in until 6:45 A.M. however many of us are so used to the early mornings that we woke even earlier (with some extra help from our friends the seagulls)! Thanks for feeding them Kage... We loaded back into our golden chariots to start a long day of scenic views and bonding. Many spent their mornings napping and dreaming of seagull free nights and what their packages had to hold. Dallas and our copilots took on the rolls of DJ's to help keep us entertained for the long day ahead. We also sang a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO COLE!!

HAPPY SALTY 17 COLE

We scarfed down a yummy breakfast of yogurt, granola, and mini oranges before... You guessed it, ANOTHER WALMART!! While some of our friends went with Ian to grab OUR MAIL!!!

Mr. Drick was AMAZING, thank you for all your help!

Our creative cooks worked hard and planned for what our lunch and dinner would be, while the rest of our large TWB family shopped around for snacks and activities to keep them entertained for the day ahead. We watched safely in the parking lot as the local sheriff tried to capture two dogs running in the road (we hope he finally got them). As we set off once more, the fun filled our rides as Dallas and our councilors found ways to keep us awake. Dallas and Alicia hosted a lively spelling bee, pump-in karaoke, and an intense game of uno in one of our Vans. Shout out to Ella for being our TWB '23 spelling bee champ! We had a nutritious lunch of caesar salad wraps and chips that were hits all around. We made a quick pit stop to use the restroom and fill up our water bottles (Yes mom we're staying hydrated!). Once we had our mid day naps and more exciting games, we looked out the windows to see the big ole WELCOME TO UTAH sign! We set our watches one hour closer to home and the salt flats came rollin by. We made a quick stop to potty and explore a bit of the muddy slaty mess, apparently this is not normal for it to be so muddy. (We are so sad and very appreciative to our bus cleaners (Grumpy's) as they had so much to clean!) Some made the brave decision to taste the salt but quickly regretted it, they became salty very quickly.

They loaded us back in for a short hour and a half drive to camp for tonight in Tooele, Utah. There we unloaded and are anxiously awaiting our packages from you! We had to make sure we finished all of our jobs and then finished presentations and got caught up.

We then played ring-around the rosie and then sat and got our packages rolled to us. We shared many tears and SNACKS which we all appreciated greatly, along with a few people getting stuff for the 4th of July!! (We are getting close!)

We have an exciting night ahead so we have to sadly sign off. Love from your favorite Sneezys! (Amelia, Callee, Leah, Meg, Ben, Alex, Sara, Asher, Charlie, Gracie, Jess, Dylan, and Bryce)
