Day 15-SLC and Bear Lake

Day 15: Salt Lake City and Bear Lake

ACHOO everyone! The Sneezy's are back! TODAY WE GOT TO SLEEP IN UNTIL 7:15 a.m.! We had a short drive into Salt Lake City and on the way we enjoyed a gourmet breakfast of cheese and strawberry danishes, granola bars, and apples! It was sooo yummy 10/10 would recommend! Soon after, we arrived and unloaded at Temple Square and met our tour guides, Sister Lam, Sister Gibson, Sister Fontana, and Sister Lori-Ann. They showed us the original Mormon church, the music center, and the ginormous auditorium that fits 21,000 people, making us seem tiny (we didn't think it was possible). They shared the origins of the Mormon Church and more about their faith and city, lots of this information came as a surprise as most of us did not really know a lot about the Mormon Church.

As we said goodbye to our new friends, our counselors let us roam around the City Creek mall for a few hours. We stopped for lunch in the food court where we had a little taste of southern comfort as we waited in the Chick-fil-A line that was just as long as the drive-thru's back at home. Some of us also went to some other places such as Subway and an awesome pizza place, there was also an option for a Utah special Mexican place called Costa Vida. After we grubbed out, we checked out some stores. Many of of you reading the blog may have received a call from some unknown numbers (that was us!) at the Apple Store. We piled back in our rides and many people took afternoon naps while others shared about their adventures while we snacked on the treats you sent us on mail day! We watched the scenery change from cities to mountains leading us to a, you guessed it, another Walmart! We gathered supplies for the rodeo and fourth of July and loaded up one last time before getting to our home for the night, Bear Lake! We were so excited on the drive in to know that we would be getting to swim in the crystal clear waters but not before a water balloon fight between the groups and some refreshing showers (Grant even said that we could shower in the lake, which some of us did!)

Meg and Leah our champs!

WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER
The one and only SNEEZY'S!

After all the chicken fights, lake showers, and many photo shoots we gathered together for one of the best sing-a-longs yet, on the beach of Bear Lake. After jamming out to many songs and having many laughs we tucked into bed for the night under the snowing trees for one last sleep before the famous Day 16!

Long lost siblings!
